Work in Progress
I’ve always admired those friends of mine who are creative in a crafty, make-pretty-and-utilitarian-things kind of way. A good friend of mine let me photograph their work, and I must confess: I’m so impressed by their skill, and I love the color choices. In this photo, in particular, you can see the pattern to follow (aqua blue color directly on the cloth). I think this was for a pillowcase. I wish I had something this pretty to lay my head on when I go to sleep!

Gone Fishin’
When indulging in a hot pot meal, I recommend spending the extra $2-3 for the seafood & meat platter. Look at all the goods you could get! On the particular occasion when this photograph was taken, I was also in the adventurous mood and opted with the kimchi broth. Also, if you’re adventurous, don’t forget the parts of the animal that don’t get paid much attention: tongue and stomach (tripe). I don’t go out to eat all that often, but when I do, it’s usually all out.
Peanut Buttah Jelly Time
My friend asked, “What are you doing?”
I’m only photographing one of the tastiest substances on earth, mister. … is what I should have said. Instead, I only hushed him… as if the wild peanut butter might be scared off by the disturbance.
You know you want a peanut butter & jelly sandwich. Do you know why? Because it’s PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME.
King of the Hill
Just because you’re king of the hill doesn’t mean you’re not just the lobster at the very top of a lobster pile. It may mean you’re the one who gets put in that pot of boiling water first.
It also may mean that you’re super tasty with butter. … and corn. Don’t forget the corn.
